RSS
What is RSS?
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. It is a way to have news releases from The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center automatically display on your desktop. To use RSS feeds, you must use a newsreader or an RSS-enabled browser. The reader can then check the user's subscribed feeds to see if any of those feeds have new content since the last time it checked, and if so, retrieve that content and present it to the user. Examples of RSS newsreaders that are freely available on the internet include:
| FeedReader, SharpReader | |
| NetNewsWire, AmphetaDesk | |
| Bloglines, Google Reader |
