The Regency Room

The Regency Room at The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center has long been the standard by which other Roanoke Valley restaurants mark their success. Having been awarded numerous DiRoNA Awards since 2002, The Regency Room is renowned for its Peanut Soup and Spoonbread, as well as its extensive wine list, earning the coveted Wine Spectator Award of Excellence and The Commonwealth's of Virginia's Gold Cluster Performance Award for Outstanding Support of Virginia Wines.

Opening in 1938, The Regency Room has remained at the heart of the Roanoke social and cultural experience. The restaurant, under the direction of Executive Chef Billie Raper and Chef Nazim Khan, features continental cuisine and is open year-round, including holidays. The Regency Room is extensively involved in a shop local, buy local mentality, working with a Floyd County cooperative called Good Food, Good People, which helps business owners to purchase produce from area farmers. The foods are picked to order and delivered within 24 hours. Chef Raper has worked with local growers for more than six years, purchasing mostly locally grown fruits and vegetables and also buys lamb from Border Springs Farm in Patrick County.
